So, what's the "ALL IN?" plan?

The "ALL IN?" ministry plan has three primary areas of focus that will guide us in expanding how we facilitate discipleship and share Jesus with our world.

Focus 1

IMPROVE FAMILY &

ADULT EDUCATION

Increase our discipleship capacity by developing a more dynamic plan of education for our Family and Adult ministries. To help people grow spiritually and engage more deeply with the church we will hire a full-time adult minister.


 Focus 2

RENOVATE TO ACCOMMODATE GROWTH

We will renovate and upgrade our existing facility to help us provide the adequate space to accommodate current and future families, as well as accommodate the vision for family ministries. 


Focus 3

CANOE CREEK EXPRESIÓN

We will create a Canoe Creek Christian Church, Spanish Expression that is able to authentically reach, love and disciple our growing Latino community.


With your help, we will accomplish this big vision at a pace that will move us toward freedom from existing debt and catapult us into stronger future ministries. Together we will cultivate stewardship and a growing trust in the Lord through generous giving. We are excited to see the ways He will expand our ministry endeavors.


Ok, but do we have to do this now? 

As our community grows and changes around us, we are already finding our physical space to be smaller than our big vision. We are out of room and lacking dynamic educational leadership that will ultimately serve as the catalyst for sharing Jesus with those right next to us and those far from us.


We are excited to renovate and add new space to our building, hire new staff, and be good stewards of our financial resources... but most of all, we are excited to see how God will move in our hearts as He uses each one of us to make this expansion a reality.

And what are the numbers?

Over the next five years we forecast that our financial needs in our operating budget and our added expanded capital could be close to $8 million total.

Similar to a business, in general church financial planning, there are two ways we manage our funds. First is our Operating Budget, which is our day to day bills (salaries, supplies, power, software, furniture and equipment) and the second is Expanded Capital which is typically funds raised toward specific and relatively large purchases like land, expansions, larger repairs or renovations. We're asking our family to help us raise $1.5 million of expanded capital over the next two years to quick launch us into completing our three part vision: adding family and adult ministries, renovating to accommodate growth, and creating Canoe Creek Expresión.

Even though we have a few missions within this request, we're using a “One Fund” approach. That means, rather than asking our Canoe Creek family to give to the Operating Budget, and then give separately to our building expansion fund, and then dig into their pockets again for a new staff hire, we want to make it easy for you. One vision, one ask, one commitment from you over five years, to accomplish these next steps in our church's story.

Our first step is to raise $1,500,000 of Expanded Capital in the first two years, which is kick start our plan. We will then rest a year, and settle into our new programs and projects, then we plan to do it again in years four and five.
