Axis Students

Here at Canoe Creek, we call our student ministry Axis Students of Canoe Creek. We believe that our relationship with God is the "Axis" on which our life should spin. Axis is a place for Middle School and High School students to hear from Jesus and respond to Jesus. It is our desire to see students connect with Jesus in such a way that they graduate high school with a firm grip on their personal relationship with Jesus. We want to see our students influence and impact the world for Jesus.

Basic Truths For Middle School Students

I will love God because He will never stop loving me.
I will follow Jesus because He knows me better than I know myself.
I will live out God's story so others can know who Jesus is.

What to Expect

We connect with students from the time they arrive in the parking lot until the time they leave. We do that through music, teaching, games and break out time each week.

We have several different experiences designed to connect students to Jesus, other students like them, and adult leaders. We have a service on Wednesday night, Sunday morning, and occasional Sunday night groups.

We love to meet new students. Each week we have a VIP booth set up for all of our students, especially those visiting for the first time. On your first visit, stop by and pick up a free gift from us and meet our staff.

Basic Truths For High School Students

Wednesdays

Wednesday night is our big element where we have live worship and teaching, as well as time to discuss life further in small groups. Each week the doors open at 6 PM and we are finished by 8 PM. 

Sunday Morning element at 9 AM and is a little more laid back than our Wednesday night element. We still have live teaching and time to discuss topics further in small groups.

Sundays

Our Sunday experience occurs during the 9 AM service. We still have many of the same elements that we have on Wednesday nights with the exception of worship songs. This is a much more laid back experience.

Once a month we have Sunday Night Groups. We provide a separate experience for Middle School and High School. We will do anything from hang out here at the church to a scavenger hunt to a pool party. Email Todd to find out when our next Sunday Night Group is.
